THE LATTER GLORY MINISTRIES

 

The Association of Youth with a Purpose was born in 1998. On a visit to Ghana, Pastors Charles O. AFFRAM and Lilian SMITH Emma found a boy who was dying of drug overdoses in the street and nobody would give him relief. Around him a group of young people. They asked them why they let my friend in those conditions. They said that if he had been taken to hospital, they should pay for drugs and had no money.

Emma and Charles took him to hospital for treatment. The next day there were no doctors and medicines, we went to buy drugs. The young man then went on to thank them along with 40 other guys. They did not know was the leader of a gang. There seemed no future and so decided to do something and try to give a purpose. We bought land, built a center for teaching children a love of life. This center is located at Takoradi, on the sea south-west of Accra in Ghana.

The Association of Youth with a Purpose (Youth With A Purpose) also in Reggio Emilia, where
